For Golf Courses
What does it cost for my course to be on FourBalls?
R950 per month with a 14-day free trial. This gives you a public course profile, availability calendar, booking approval dashboard, and full event oversight. No setup fees, no commission on events.
How do I manage which days are available for golf days?
Your calendar shows all days by default as available. Simply block out dates you don’t want (club events, maintenance, etc). Organisers can only request available dates, and you approve every booking before it goes live.
What happens when an organiser wants to book my course?
They submit a booking request with their event details. You’ll see it in your Booking Requests dashboard and can approve or reject it. Once approved, the organiser can publish their event and start collecting registrations.
Can organisers find my course and request dates directly?
Yes. Your public course page shows your profile, facilities, green fees, and an availability calendar. Organisers can request any open date directly from there. You’ll see their enquiry in your Enquiries dashboard.
Can I host my own golf days without an external organiser?
Yes. From your calendar, click any available date and choose “Create event”. You’ll go through the same event builder as organisers, but your course is pre-selected and auto-approved.
Do I have control over what events run at my course?
Absolutely. Every golf day must be approved by you before it can be published. You can reject bookings with a reason, and the organiser can revise and resubmit.

Is FourBalls really free for organisers?
Yes, 100% free. No per-event fees, no commission, no hidden charges. Create unlimited events at any listed course. The platform is funded by course subscriptions.
How do I set up a golf day?
Register as an organiser, then use the event builder. Pick a course, set the date, add registration options and pricing, sponsor tiers, day schedule, and your branding. Submit for course approval and you’re done.
How do payments work?
You add your bank details in the event settings. When teams register, they see your EFT banking details and can upload proof of payment directly. You track payment status in your dashboard and mark teams as paid — they get an automatic confirmation email.
Can I share my event on WhatsApp?
Yes. Every event page, registration confirmation, and your organiser dashboard has a WhatsApp share button with a pre-filled invitation message. You can also share via email with one click.
How do tee times work?
You can manually assign tee times and starting holes, or use auto-assign which respects each team’s preferred tee time. When you’re ready, email the tee sheet to all captains with one click — each captain gets their specific time and hole.
Can I post updates to registered teams?
Yes. From your event dashboard, post announcements that appear on the public event page and each captain’s registration status page. Toggle “email all captains” to send it to everyone at once.
What does the captain receive after registering?
An email with their reference number, amount due, your bank details, a link to upload POP, and a WhatsApp share button. They also get a personal registration page where they can track status, see updates, and view their tee time.
Can I manage sponsors for my golf day?
Yes. Set up sponsor tiers (e.g. Hole Sponsor, Gold Sponsor) with pricing and benefits. Sponsors can self-register via a link. You approve them in your dashboard. Approved sponsors appear on your event page and in confirmation emails.
For Players
How do I register for a golf day?
Visit the event page (shared by the organiser via WhatsApp or email), fill in your team name, captain details, and up to 4 players with handicaps. Submit and you’re registered.
Do I need to create an account?
No. Registration is open to everyone. After registering you get a personal link to your registration status page — no password needed.
How do I pay?
The organiser’s bank details are shown right after you register and sent to you via email. Pay via EFT using your reference number, then upload proof of payment on your registration page or email it to the organiser.
How do I know my payment went through?
Once the organiser confirms your payment, you’ll receive a confirmation email and your registration status page will show “Confirmed”.
How do I find out my tee time?
The organiser will assign tee times and email them to you before the event. You can also check your registration status page for your assigned tee time and starting hole.
Can I add players to my team later?
Yes. Your registration status page lets you edit player names and handicaps anytime before the event. Only the captain (who registered) can make changes.
How do I stay updated about the event?
Your registration page shows all event updates posted by the organiser. If the organiser sends email updates, you’ll get those too. Bookmark your registration page for easy access.
