Getting started
Everything you need to know to get going on FourBalls — no manuals, no training sessions. Pick your path below and follow the steps.
For organisers · Free
Six steps from a blank page to a full field with live scores. Most organisers publish their event page the same afternoon they sign up.
Sign up as an Event Organiser — all you need is your name, email and what you're organising for (school, business, charity, club). No card, no fees, ever.
fourballs.co.za/register
Tip: Organisers run unlimited golf days free — the platform is funded by course subscriptions.
Add your logo, a short description and contact details. This is what players and sponsors see on your public event pages, so it's worth two minutes.
Dashboard → Profile
Pick a date and a course, set the entry fee per fourball, add sponsor packages and a schedule. You get a branded public page with its own link the moment you publish.
Dashboard → Events → New event
Tip: Share the link on WhatsApp — captains register their own team of four and you watch the field fill up.
Teams pay by EFT using their reference number and upload proof of payment straight to their registration. You mark it paid in one click; automatic reminders chase the stragglers and a daily report lands in your inbox.
Dashboard → Registrations
Auto-allocate the tee sheet (intervals or shotgun — paid teams get the early slots), then generate a scoring link for every fourball. Captains tap in scores hole by hole and the leaderboard runs itself on the clubhouse TV.
Dashboard → Registrations → Tee sheet & Scoring
Winners are worked out with proper count-backs, results publish with medals and sponsor logos, and everything shares to WhatsApp. Ready to go bigger? Run a Ryder Cup weekend with fantasy picks for the whole tour.
Leaderboard → Publish results
Tip: The Ryder Cup format is a once-off R299 when you go live — free to set up and explore.

Add photos, your logo, contact details, tees and hole data. A complete profile is what organisers see when they're choosing a venue — it's your shop window.
Course admin → Profile & Tees
Approve or decline booking requests in one click, block maintenance and member days, and sync everything to Google, Outlook or Apple Calendar — or import your existing club diary so busy dates block themselves.
Course admin → Calendar
Tip: Subscribe once and every booking, event and blocked date stays up to date in your own calendar automatically.
Events booked at your course run on the organiser's side — registrations, payments, tee sheets and scoring included — while you keep full visibility of every event at your venue.
Course admin → Events
Weekly medals and season series with Order-of-Merit standings, plus Cup & Plate knockouts on auto-pilot: the draw releases itself when entries close, players arrange their own ties, and results advance the bracket automatically.
Course admin → Competitions & Knockouts
Bring the societies and corporates who already book with you onto the platform — it's free for them, and their golf days land straight in your booking inbox instead of on voicemail.
