For Organisers

How do I create a golf day?+

Sign up as an organiser (free), add your organisation, click Create Event, and walk through the steps. You'll have a public registration page in 5 minutes.

Can I customise my event page?+

Yes — upload a banner, set your theme colours, and choose your format (better ball, stableford, scramble, etc.). Sponsors get their own section. Your event lives at fourballs.co.za/your-org/your-event.

How do players pay?+

Captains see your bank details on the registration confirmation and upload proof of payment. You mark payments confirmed from your dashboard. Stripe payment is coming soon for organisers who want it.

What is the Ryder Cup format?+

A team-vs-team competition where players accumulate points across sessions. We support full team management, captain assignments, and a live scoreboard. R299 once-off activation per Ryder Cup event.

Can I email players reminders?+

Yes. From the event, hit 'Reminders' to send templated emails (event details, tee sheet, results) to all registered captains.

How much does it cost?+

See /pricing — there's a 14-day free trial, then a monthly subscription with no commission on events.

Who approves a golf day at our course?+

You do. When an organiser picks your course, the booking lands in your Bookings inbox and waits for your approval before going live. You can block out dates in your calendar to stop requests entirely.

Can players book direct from our course page?+

Yes — your public course profile has an enquiry form. Submitted enquiries appear in your Enquiries tab; approve them and the organiser is invited to create their event at your course.

Do we get a calendar overview?+

Yes, a single calendar showing approved events, pending requests, and dates you've blocked. Manage it all from /course/calendar.

Can we cancel anytime?+

Yes. Cancellation is one click in your billing page. Your subscription stays active until the end of the current billing cycle.
